I'm missing you both this Christmas,
It will be very different this year
The holiday cheer and Christmas joy will be missing
because you won't be here.

Not a day goes by nor a minute passes that
you're not in my thoughts and prayers
My feelings of sadness are carefully hidden
behind the smile I wear.

So I pray that you both are having a wonderful Christmas
It's one of your favorite times of the year.
And although we can't see you
I know that you're always there.

So this Christmas we will try, not to be so blue.
That will be my Christmas gift to the both of you.

This Christmas

This Christmas we will be lost in our dreams
past the cold winter air and the lights that sparkle and shine.
This Christmas we will be so full of love
as our hearts will be wrapped in heavenly devotion
But deep down inside there will be sadness
because on this Christmas holiday
you are far beyond our reach.
We will remember you in our most precious thoughts.
We will touch you in our heartfelt dreams.
Although we are so far apart,
We can be together in our visions of memory
and in our dreams of loving affection.
We will meet you by the Christmas tree
with so much love in our hearts.
The sparkling lights of the tree will reflect in your eyes
and there in that dream you will be by our side.
We will tell you we love you and miss you so dearly
and then you will tell us you're doing fine, indeed.
It's at that time we will realize, that the greatest gift of all
Is the blessing that God bestowed on us
When He brought your precious memory
home to us This Christmas.

Though you may not see
I'll smile and remember
The last Christmas, with you and me

I watched as you touched the ornaments
Sometimes a tear was shed as you did
